This 1939 hilarious, madcap black comedy revolves around theatre-hating drama critic Mortimer Brewster and his two beloved spinster aunts. These seemingly harmless ladies have taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of home-made elderberry wine laced with arsenic, strychnine and 'just a pinch of cyanide'.
